UK Government Abolishes Credit Card charges

London, July 20: A good news for citizens. The Britain government has abolished the extra charges paid by the customer for using credit cards.

Sources say that currently, surcharges vary up to 20 % of the transaction. This order would be implemented from January 2018.
The government has ordered the companies not to levy any extra charge for using the credit card/Debit card.Currently, airlines and food stores charge a higher fee for payment made using the card rather than cash.

Experts say that the move would reduce the burden on the citizen and also the debt of the government would be reduced in coming years.The government has warned that strict action would be taken against the people who violate the orders given.
