Old Currency racket busted, Rs.1 Cr seized

Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada, July 19: The Vijayawada Task Force Police have arrested a gang of 7 members including 3 women for exchanging old currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 worth Rs 1 crore was seized here on Tuesday.

While coming to details, The accused identified as Jaya Chandran from Chennai and his friend Ramesh Jain and B.tech students nageshwara Rao, Rammurthy and Electronics shop owner Jangala Usha Srinivas Rao, Narendra from vijayawada. The 3 women are Vemuri sunitha,T.Nirmala Devi and S. Vijayajyothi.

These all are planned to exchange the money and met at sunitha's house, after knowing the information the task Force police ACP Murliadhar and CI Suresh Reddy were also attacked while they were in the house at Sunitha house in Ramavarppadu.

However, Srinivas Rao and narendra are escaped the remaining were taken into custody and seized the money worth of Rs.1 Crore of demonetized notes.
