Record polling in President Election

New Delhi, July 18: The MPs and legislators across the country are in front of polling stations on Monday to select the 14th President of the country. The polling process started at 10 am and voters arrived in many states earlier.

The enthusiasm was seen in states such as Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Bihar. Returning Officer and Lok Sabha Secretary General Anoop Mishra said 99 per cent of votes were lost during the evening polling.

In recent times, this poll has not been recorded in any of the polls and it will probably be a record in the presidential election. In this election, 100% of the 11 states and 99% of the Parliamentary constituency were registered.

The BJP leaders have once again insisted that Bihar's former governor Ramnath Kovin, who is in power for the NDA alliance, will win over his opponent Meira Kumar.

Opposition Leader Gulanabee Azad said in Rajya Sabha that this is the ideological fight and the presidential candidate Meira Kumar. BSP president Mayawati said the Dalit president was coming to the country where the party won.
