A.P. Govt Toll Free number for Women

The state government of AP is scrutinizing plans to apply various measures towards women empowerment and to eliminate the domestic violence. Regarding to that, the state government is planning to start a toll free help line number for women safety.

The government of AP has planned to inaugurate one stop center in every district of AP to allocate the issues of domestic violence. As a beginning of plan, the govt is planning to start one stop centre in hospitals. The officials were directed to search land for construction of buildings for the preferred centres.

Peetala Sujatha Ministry of women and child welfare said that minimum qualification for Anganwadi schools will be revisited. As per current rules the people with 10th standard is enough to enroll as Anganwadi teacher.

But from now, the government is planning to make Intermediate or Degree as minimum qualification the people should posses for being appointed as an Anganwadi teacher.

The state government is also planning to implement school uniform for children in the Anganwadi schools.
