Indian Adults prefer US :IOM report

New Delhi July 15: A report was recently published. United Nations Migration Agency International Organisation for Migration IOM has published a report regarding the migration status of people in various countries.The main highlights of the report are
*India has secured 2nd rank in the number of adults planning to migrate to other countries.
* Many Indians prefer USA and the UK among the most favored destinations.
* The report was titled 'Measuring Global Migration Potential 2010- 2015'.
* Globally 1.3 per cent of the adult population or 66 million people have plans to permanently migrate every year.
* Nigeria (5.1 million) has the highest number of people who want to migrate permanently.
* Currently 4.8 million people in India are planning to migrate.
* The report was published on the basis of international survey data collected by the Gallup World Poll.
