AP Employees and Pensioners to get Master Health Checkups

Amaravati, July 15: The Andhra Pradesh Govt has been going to conduct the complete health check-ups to the AP employees and Pensioners.

there are 27 types of medical tests for men and 28 types of tests for women.The Employee's wife or spouse and Only the pensioner's wife or spouse will be tested in check-ups.

The hospitals will be selected by tenders process and the tests will be conducted in their laboratories. In the first phase, there are tests will be conducted without consideration of age.These tests will help to 8.5 lakh beneficiaries approximately.

In the second phase, The tests will be conducted for those who have passed 40 years. The selection of companies by the tender process will require 45 days to two months duration.So, the scheme will start from September.

The State Health and Family Welfare Minister Kaminieni Srinivas said that the decision was taken in the Health Ministry review meeting which was held by chief minister Chandrababu Naidu on Friday night in the Secretariat.

These medical tests will charge Rs.2110 for men and Rs 2200 for women.The 50% of the money pays the government, 50% of the employees will have to pay.

According to the report, The Rs 230 crores will be burdened on the state treasury under this scheme. In addition to the following results, After the 27 tests for men and 28 tests for women they will be promoted to do the ultrasound, vitamin D3, prostate gland, and cancer tests.

Besides, the Master Health Checkup provides an opportunity to approach physicians, gynecologist, and Ophthalmologists. These tests will provide health awareness and govt knows how to provide medicines in government hospitals.
