New Delhi July 15: A good news for Medical students. Medical Counsel has released the first round of seat allotment for All India Quota seats yesterday evening. The Counsel said that the students can check the allotment status on the official website.

* 4018 students have been allotted seats in the first round.

* All India Ranks till 551965 have been allotted seats.

The counsel said that Students must report to the allotted colleges and complete admission formalities and the admission process will be ended by July 22.

* The process of the second round of allotment will begin from August 1.

Meanwhile yesterday the supreme court has dismissed the petition to ban the NEET results. The court has said that we cannot ban results at this point because the future of Nearly 6 lakh students would be in trouble. The Court has also directed CBSE to clarify its position on allowing 3 sets of question papers in regional languages.

Currently, all students must pass NEET exam to get admissions for UG and PG medical colleges in India .
