Telangana Advocate General resigned

Hyderabad, July 13: The Telangana Advocate General K.Ramakrishna Reddy has resigned on Wednesday. The resignation was approved by the government. After the formation of Telangana state, Ramakrishna Reddy was the first Advocate General of the state. He had completed his three years and submitted the resignation letter on Wednesday.

He has thanked the Chief Minister KCR for the support of him. The government is considering the name of Senior Advocate Desai Prakash Reddy as the new Advocate General. As per the reports, The Chief Minister has already made a decision in this aspect. In a couple of days, the order will be issued.

As we know that Prakash a Reddy's name also came under the scrutiny of Ramakrishna Reddy's candidacy at the time of the state's formation. Upon receiving new Advocate General responsibilities, they will yet to decide the tenure extension of existing government prosecutors and assistant advocates.

The three-year term of government lawyers and assistant advocates will be completed by March 23. The new AG will have the opportunity to make changes in the existing team to make stronger claims on behalf of the government.
