Telangana students to listen foreign professors lectures

Hyderabad, July 12: Do you want to hear the experienced professors' lessons from various prestigious universities in the world?

Here is the solution for you...In this year, A total of 800 foreign professors will come to India, especially to the Telangana institutes like IIT, NIT, HCU, Nalwar, JNTUH, and OU Technology Colleges. The course sessions will be here for a week to three weeks.

To improve the quality of higher education:

The central government's idea is that our students will develop a thorough understanding of deep and complex issues if they listen to international level professors lessons.

Hence, the Central Human Resources Department is implementing the scheme from the 2015-16 academic year called Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN).

In the first year, IITs, NITs, and IIMs were appointed to use these sessions.In the Last year(2016-17) these sessions were also implemented to the govt's autonomous colleges in the public sector.

This opportunity used by the JNTU, IIT Hyderabad, NIT Warangal, Nalsar and HCU also brought foreign professors. In this year, the College of Technology in Osmania University also joined in the scheme.

The Coordinator Acharya Basava Rao said the proposals of 22 courses were sent from here.The IIT Kharagpur is the coordinator for this scheme.

Universities should send comprehensive proposals to IIT Kharagpur for teaching foreign professors. A team of experts in IIT Kharagpur will have to accept them.

In the last year, 600 foreign experts from 58 countries across the country have come to India. A total of 640 courses was conducted. This time 800 professors will come from 65 countries.

There are many professors from the United States, Britain, Australia, Canada, and Japan.

It is estimated that 50 percent of the non-resident Indians will be eligible. Hyderabad and Warangal districts of Telangana will have more than 50 experts.
