SBI revises IMPS charges

New Delhi July 12: A burden will be born by customers.
State Bank of India has announced a revision in rates for IMPS transfers under GST. IMPS service is used by customers to transfer money online instantly to others account. the revised rates are as follows
* Transactions below 1000 -nil.
* Transactions between 1000- 1 lakh RS 5.
* Transactions between RS 1 lakh -2 lakh RS 15.
The bank said these fees are in addition to the GST of 18 % tax.
Finally, the bank has said that the additional burden must be born by customers and it's not our responsbility.
