India will become the largest producer by 2026

New Delhi, July 12: A good news for India. United Nations and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has released a report.the main highlights of the report are

* India would become the largest producer of milk in the world 2026.
* Country's total milk production will be tripled in the first quarter of the 21st century.
* The European Union would be a second largest producer of milk.
* Wheat production in India would be increased.
* Global wheat production will be increased by 11 percent over 2017- 2026.
* Rice production will increase in India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam by 15 % over
the next decade.
* Global food prices will be reduced with the increased production in coming years.

Finally, the report has lauded the initiatives taken by Modi Government in India to double the farmer's income in next 5 years.
