RBI to announce the money deposited

Mumbai, July 11: An information will be given soon. Reserve Bank of India will soon disclose the details of the total amount of money that is deposited in banks during demonetization. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8 has said that RS 500 and RS 1000 notes have become invalid.

RBI has given Indian Citizens a 50 days deadline till December 30 to deposit their money. the central bank has said that RS 12.4 crore has already deposited in the bank. Sources say that there were Rs 15.6 lakh crore currency of RS 500 and RS 1000 notes.

The final Amount has not yet been announced by the bank because they have said that verification process and elimination of fake notes id going on.

Expert say that RBI would soon announce the amount because the financial Year of the bank has ended on June 30 and it should pay a dividend to the bank.They have also said that the bank is consulting auditors on this issue.

Let's hope that RBI soon gives a figure so that actual amount of black money destroyed would be known.
