Global Companies to launch payments services

Bengaluru, July 11: Global companies would soon start a revolution in India. Sources say that top companies are testing United Payment Interface (UPI) launched in India and they will soon integrate with 'BHIM' App launched last year. The companies which are testing the interface are

* Google
* Amazon
* Uber
* WhatsApp
* Amazon

Uber has said that we will soon integrate UPI with Bhim so that cabs drivers payments can be made online. Currently, OLA has already integrated with UPI and has launched Ola money wallet. NPCI has said that we will tie up with Google and WhatsApp to launch multibank UPI.

Google has said that we will launch our own payments system we have already tested the wallet and we are waiting for the approval. Amazon is considering to add UPI payment feature to its website instead of launching a new payments service.

Let's hope that the new wallet launched would be a success so that India becomes a Less cash society.
