ACB raids on Assistant Director of Mines

Hyderabad, July 08: Another Corruption officer has been arrested by the Police officials, The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has been conducted simultaneous raids at the residences of Assistant Director of Mines Sudhakar Reddy, in Suryapet and at his relatives houses in seven different places in the state, here on Friday.

The ACB officials raided his residences and the houses of his relatives in Huzurnagar, Warangal, Hyderabad, and Bhongir, After receiving a complaint against Sudhakar Reddy. Inspections were conducted at Hyderabad, Warangal, Nalgonda, Jangam, Kodada and Huzurnagar.

A team led by DSP M. Madhusudan Reddy, the head of the ACB (Central Investigation Unit), Hyderabad, conducted searches at Suryapet Vidyanagar. DSP Madhusudan Reddy revealed that these checks were worth Rs 3.6 crore worth of market value. They are expected to be in the open market for over Rs 15-20 crore.

The officials have been found properties worth Rs 15 crore owned by Reddy that include a warehouse in Huzoornagar, one acre at Kodad and 61 acres in Jangaon, partnership in granite business, liquor shops in Garidepally Mandal in the district and more than hundred house plots across the state.

The DSP said that he had taken possession of valuable home plots in Visakhapatnam and Chittoor in the past. The attacks that began in the early morning Friday continued until the end.
