SC favours CJI,Governor under RTI

New Delhi, July 7: A key reform will soon take place. The Supreme Court yesterday has said that Governor and CJI must be brought within the domain of the ambit of Right to Information Act (RTI).

The court has also said that all offices of all the constitutional functionaries should be made amenable to the RTI law so that transparency and accountability. The court has said the above remarks when it was hearing a petition filed by Manohar Parrikar CM of Goa.

Yesterday the court has also asked that why shouldn't Governor be brought under RTI. Finally lets hope that the government accepts its suggestions so that judiciary will be also held accountable.
