Polished Dry fruits racket busted

Hyderabad, July 06: The police officials have been arrested the food adulteration gang here on Wednesday, who is stoking the decomposed dry fruits with heavy polish and selling into the market.

The police officials also seized the Godown. According to the media reports, Bansilal and CO company has been situated in Jummerath Bazar, Uppalamma Temple.

While the police have to check the godown, they found the decomposed dry fruits which were been refiltering with full polish, along with that, the police also found 4000 kg Dry Grapes and 700 kg basmati rice, 400 kg Anjeer dates, walnuts, dry fruits and other.

Goddam was sieged and moved to Dry fruits samples lab. The value is estimated to be around Rs.10 lakh. After the report, the accused will be arrested.
