AIIB to build roads in Gujarat

New Delhi, July 5: A good news for India. Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) board today has approved $329 million loans for building roads in 4,000 villages in 33 districts of Gujarat.

The Bank has issued a statement that insufficient road connectivity in these villages limits

* Their ability to access healthcare services
* People cannot sell their goods in market
* Children cannot attend schools.

They have also said that the state and district roads connecting villages will be upgraded with the approved funds. The bank believes that the construction of roads will integrate rural population, tribal villages, business, and industries to the national and state economy because of better transportation.

AIIB is a multilateral development bank and has its headquarters in Beijing.Finally, Gujarat people are happy because their villages will be developed.
