AP CM urged to improve facilities of Anganwadi Centers

Andhra Pradesh Vijayawada, July 5: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the authorities to take immediate steps to improve facilities in Anganwadi centers across the state.

The Chief Minister has held a review meeting on the facilities of Anganwadi Centers at his residence Undavalli of Vijayawada here on Tuesday.

Mr. Naidu spoke to the officials on the death of a girl child named Sindhu, who was slipped in a water tank and died in Anganwadi Center. The incident has occurred in Uyyalavari Palli village of Peddathippa Samudram Mandal in Chittoor district.

The Anganwadi activists should act with responsibility and the CM pointed out that do not show any negligence towards the children.
