GST :22 states abolish check posts

New Delhi July 4: India has launched GST and it is showing its results.currently, 22 states have abolished state check posts in 3 days of the launch. Some of the states that have abolished check posts include

* Delhi
* West Bengal
* Maharashtra
* Uttar Pradesh
* Bihar
* Haryana
* Gujarat
* Madhya Pradesh
* Andhra Pradesh
* Karnataka
* Kerala
* Tamil Nadu
* Telangana.

Sources say that 8 more states will also abolish check posts very soon. The scrapping of check posts ensures that goods flow seamlessly across the country.

Many truck drivers feel that GST would help them because the hour long ques to get their consignments and papers checked would become obsolete. Finally, industries are happy because their profits will be increased.
