Two held in Ghee adulteration case

Telangana: Hyderabad, July 3: The Hyderabad Task Force police have arrested two persons for preparing of adulterated ghee and seized 43 kgs of adulterated ghee from the duo here on Sunday.

While coming to details, The accused identified as Rajender Mali and M Venkatesh prepared adulterated ghee at Venkatesh's residence and distributed them to Kirana shops.

They mixed palm oil and Dalda with original ghee and packaged them in small packets of the brand 'Amul Pure Ghee'.

In a tip-off, the Task Force police carried out several raids on the premises of Venkatesh's house. The two accused have been arrested.They had registered an adulteration case on them and begun further investigation too.
