GST :HUL cuts prices of its products

Mumbai July 2: A relief for customers. FMCG major caompany HUL has reduced the prices of some of its detergents and soaps. The company said that it has reduced the prices to pass on the benefit of reduced taxes to the customer with GST in force. The prices are reduced are as follows

* Cost of detergent soap Rin bar of 250 gm has been reduced to Rs 15 from Rs 18.

* The weight of the Surf Excel bar costing Rs. 10 has been increased to 105
gram from 95 gm without a change in the price.

* 33 percent extra in Dove bathing bar is available at same price.

The Company said that the rates will be applicable for new stocks that are delivered after July 1. The company currently owns brands such as Wheel, Rin, Surf Excel, Comfort, Sunlight, Vim, Domex, Lux, Liril, Hamam, Sunsilk, Rexona, Lifebuoy, Dove, and Pears.

The company has also said that customers will be informed in advance if there is any further reduction in the price. Finally customers are happy because prices have been decreased.
