KTR visits Sabarmati Ashram

Hyderabad July 2: A visit took place yesterday.Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao has visited Sabarmati Ashram in Gujarat yesterday.The minister has said that we will take inspiration from the father of the country Gandhi Ji and we will develop the rural economy of Telangana state.

He also said that the Sabarmati River Front is the pride of Ahmedabad. he also said that we would try to develop Musi River in Hyderabad a pride by developing it as a tourist spot.GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and officers such as Naveen Mittal Principal Secretary for Municipal Administration, GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy, HMDA Commissioner T Chiranjeevulu have also visited the ashram as a part of Study Tour.

Earlier the Minister has attended the Textile Summit in Gujarat inaugurated by PM Modi. Later he spoke at the event and he has invited many industries to come and set up plants in the state. Speaking at the state Textile Minister Smriti Irani has praised the Telangana Government for the initiatives it has taken to promote the textile sector.
