Hyderabad police arrests 7 persons dealing in fake idols

Telangana, Hyderabad, July 02: The Hyderabad police officials have been arrested Seven persons, who were allegedly trying to make money by passing off fake 'panchaloha' (metal alloy) idols of deities as original here on Saturday.

Coming to details, They are identified as R. Someshwar Rao, M. Ravi Kishore, E. Raman Goud, A. Gangadhar, P. Siddeshwar, M. Laxman and P. Venkateshwar Rao were the accused in the case.

In another case, the S.R. Nagar police of West zone on Saturday recovered stolen gold ornaments weighing 45 grams and three bikes after arresting two persons, D. Surender and R. Vijay Krishna. Surender was earlier arrested in a murder case.
