New Delhi June 29: Many people are finding innovative ways in these days. Indian parliament members MPs are not an exception. They have a found a new way to attend the grand function on June 30 midnight.
The Union Government has invited all MPs of the Parliament to attend GST launch. many members have readily accepted the invitation but their main concern is that they are not paid travel allowance because it is a special sitting of the parliament.
The Top brass of BJP leaders found an innovative way and had informally approached different heads of the parliamentary department committees and told them to organize special meetings in Parliament for 2 days on June 29 and 30.
Currently, rules permit an MP to be paid allowance when he attends department meetings of RS 2000. There are about 24 meetings on Friday.
The parliament will be a full house and they said that government should have announced the invitation in a more formal way and they would pay allowances so that we wouldn't have to find a new way.
