Amazon to set up GST cafes

Bengaluru, June 28: A reform will soon be implemented.
India is gearing up for implementation of GST from July 1.
E-commerce platform Amazon has today announced that it would set up 16 'GST Cafes' in 11 cities in the country.

The company said that the cafes would help vendors who supply goods to the e-commerce platform to understand the process of GST. The cafes will conduct a workshop for training available for two weeks starting from June 26th, 2017.

These are set up at various Amazon Service Provider and Amazon partner sites across the country. The workshops will train and empower sellers for an upcoming new tax regime. Company said that various services will be provided and eminent Chartered Accountants and also tax experts from the company.

The services such as Filing of tax returns, documents to be obtained, and other rules to be known will be provided to vendors. Lets hope that traders utilize this opportunity and become a part of GST regime.
