Global Internet Forum to curb  Terrorism launched

Washington June 28: 4 companies have come together for a global cause. Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter, and YouTube have jointly agreed to launch a partnership to prevent the spreading of terrorism online. The companies have formed a Global Internet Forum to curb Terrorism.

They have said that the forum will develop

* New strategies to counter terrorist recruitment material from the internet.

* Spread awareness among the people for stopping the recruitment.

* Forum interacts with governments, smaller companies, and non-governmental
organizations and uses their suggestions.

* Develop new technology to identify extremism and online hate and prevent them from spreading.

The companies said that the forum developed is at initial stages and we will make sure that our core goal of preventing terrorism is achieved.Experts feel that the forum is a new good initiative because the recruitment of terrorists is growing via social media.Let's hope that new venture will help the governments fight terrorism globally so that peace is established in the world.
