Mobiles no longer allowed in Vemulawada Shrine

Telangana, Siricilla, June 27: AS we all knew that, recently, The Unidentified people has been taken the photos of Shrine Badradri Temple, even they posted in Social media, which went viral recently.

In another case, At Vemulawada historic Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam, Rajanna-Sircilla district, the devotees have been capturing the pictures of the Shrine.

In order to ensure sanctity and strengthen security at the temple, authorities are contemplating a ban on carrying of mobile phones.

The Vemulawada temple shrine, stated to be Dakshin Kashi, is visited by several thousands of devotees every day. Of late, devotees were seen taking pictures and selfies in the temple shrine, in the sanctum sanctorum, and also while performing traditional ‘kode mokku’ of tying an ox, besides other rituals.

Some devotees even pose for photos in front of the main temple shrine, causing serious inconvenience to other devotees performing rituals.

Even in the queue lines, pilgrims are seen using cell phones for taking pictures, besides sending WhatsApp messages and opening social network sites, thus disturbing the sanctity of the temple.

Even the Rajanna-Sircilla district police officials have informed the devasthanam authorities not to allow the cellular phones and bags into the temple shrine as part of security measures.
