Andhra Caterers Association demands lower the GST on food Products

Guntur, June 26: The Federation of All India Caterers President Narendra Somani has urged the central government to cut taxes on various millions of food products in the form of GST.

Narendra Somani attended as Chief Guest at the event held at Tenali of Guntur district under the custody of Andhra Caterers Association here on Sunday.

He said that "How this can be possible to pay Rs 18,000 tax to the government in case of new policy caterers to any small function."

While considering the field level factors, He suggests the government tax on food should be within 5%.If you do not want to correct these heavy taxes, we will stage a protest against GST, he added.

At the meeting, national level representatives Atul Mehta, Yogesh Chandrana, Kireet Buddadev, Vipul Badani, Andhra Pradesh Hotels Association president M. Srinivas, AP Dal Millers Association president Namburu Venkata Krishna Murthy have attended.

A large number of caterers attended from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. The Caterers has launched a caterers website in the program.
