Registration of Dealers under GST extended

Hyderabad, June 26: In Telangana, the goods service tax (GST) has been opened up since Sunday to register dealers. By now 82% of the state has registered in the GST network. With the GST to come into effect from July 1, dealers' registration is expected to be completed by 100 percent.

The Chief Executive Officer Somesh Kumar has announced that the Commercial Taxes Department will work in Telangana on Monday and Tuesday, even after the implementation of GST. For doubts and other issues related to GST, They have to call toll free number 18004253787.

Talks on the burden of projects at 30th meeting:

The Telangana state government will once again address three aspects of key GST council meeting on 30th of this month. The tax burden on the projects has increased from 5% to 18% and over Rs, 19,000 crores will be added to the state.

This is going to be 5 per cent tax. It is strongly insistent that the old system should continue for projects that are already in the open. In this case, the States are trying to explain the actual situation and pressure them by the Council.

The state government is attempting to discuss the issue of granite and beedi industries already being taken to the council.
