Man held for raping his stepdaughter.

Hyderabad, June 25: The police officials have been arrested A 36-year-old man for allegedly raping his stepdaughter.

According to the police, The accused, M Santosh Reddy was arrested before for raping the 13-year-old girl but was out on bail after three months.

Sources said that The Police informed that the mother of the victim is in a live-in relationship with the accused since 2011. But when he raped the girl earlier this year, he was sent to jail. He was released after three months and apologized to the mother who continued their relationship.

Santosh Reddy took the girl to Sindanur in Karnataka on June 18 where he kept the girl in a government primary school and raped her repeatedly. On June 22, he dropped her off at a bus stop in Hyderabad and absconded.

The mother of the girl lodged a complaint against him with the police who found him at Raichur in Karnataka. He has been sent to remand.
