Warangal, June 25: We already knew that The State govt has been provided a free internet wifi around the Hyderabad city, Now The leading telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is gearing up to set up Wi-Fi facility at 22 locations in the Warangal Smart city.

While works for the setting up of the Wi-Fi facility at five locations — Warangal Urban Collectorate,

Green Square Plaza,

Brindavan Apartments,

GWMC office and Warangal Officers’ Club — is in progress.

The facility will also come up at Courts complex, NPDCL office, RTA office, Jakotia complex and others soon.

We Knew that the BSNL is going to provide 100 Mbps speed Internet service through the ‘Fibre To The Home (FTTH)’ with a FUP (Fair User Policy) of 6 Mbps from July 1.

Addressing a press conference at BSNL office in Warangal on Saturday, Principal General Manager K Narender said that they are expecting at least 1,000 connections within a year after the launch of the service.

"The tariff for this plan is Rs 2,795 per month. Our target under this category are — educational institutions, hospitals and corporate business establishments and I assure 100 percent the said speed," he added.
