Small movies in trouble

Hyderabad June 23: If we consider the total number of single theaters, multiplex theaters there are nearly 2500 screens in two Telugu states. But still small filmmakers unable to get enough theaters for releasing their films.

They have to postpone the release due to the unavailability of theaters. Most of these theaters are in the hands of some productions houses and big distributors... Telugu Film industry is facing this issue for several years. But no one is trying to find a solution.

Six small budget films are facing troubles due to some big films. It is known that 'Duvvada Jagannadham' is releasing on June 23. The majority of the theaters will be occupied by this film. Another big film Nani's 'Ninnu Kori' is releasing on July 7. 'Jayadeva', 'Mayamahal', 'Kathalo Rajakumari', 'Chandmama Rave', 'Rendu Rendla Aaru' are releasing next week. Similarly Gopichand's 'Gautham Nanda' is also eyeing on July 7.

So, these six films have to be released in this gap. It is tough to get theaters for their films.. even though they get theaters.. continuing for more days is also tough.

It is really interesting to see how they will get theaters how they will sustain at the box office. 'Rendu Rendla Aaru'.. 'Kathalo Rajakumari' films have to back from 'Vaaraahi' so their situation will be better.. 'Jayadeva' may get a good number of theaters as the hero is the son of a minister. It's the tough time for others.
