Hyderabad June 23: As we knew that, surrogacy Crime has been occurred in Hyderabad city, from this perspective, A two-judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice T Rajani reacted on the incidence of surrogacy in the city.

The bench took cognizance of the fate of about 48 women who were housed in a nursing home in the city and issued notices to the State authorities asking them to explain to the court the steps they were taking to protect the health of these women.

Even if the childless couples, who had commissioned these poor women as surrogate mothers, vanish or the State seals the fertility centres in which they were lodged, these poor women should not face any problem concerning their health, shelter and well being.

The bench further made it clear that the identity of the women shall not be revealed and any intrusion into their privacy would be at the cost of the State government.
