Rakul Preet about her debut movie

Hyderabad June 22: One of the top heroine of the Tollywood is Rakul Preet Singh got a chance to act in Kannada film 'Gilli' in 2009 while she was pursuing B.Sc in Mathematics.

She couldn't say no because as her remuneration of Rs 5 lakh was offered to Rakul. At that time she used to receive only Rs 2,000 as pocket money, This is a huge amount and hence she grabbed an opportunity.

After 'Gilli' movie released, Many Kannada moviemakers approached her but she turned down them to focus on her studies. While 'Keratam' is her Telugu debut movie, She was launched in Bollywood with 'Yaariyan' (2013).



Since 2011, Rakul Preet has done nearly 20 movies in Telugu and majority of them were successful. She is making her reentry in Bollywood with Siddharth Malhotra-Neeraj Pandey's movie.

"I am open to good Characters, whether it's Telugu, Hindi or Tamil. Language isn't a big barrier anymore¦That's what Baahubali was proved!," she said.

Apart from 'Spyder', Rakul Preet is part of 'Jaya Janaki Nayaka' which is directing by Boyapati Seenu. She has a Tamil project and two Hindi movies in her kitty.
