Farmers fired on AP Minister Nara Lokesh

Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada, June 21: The Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh has faced the bitter situation, while he met with farmers here on Tuesday when they questioned him on farm dues.

The incident took place when farmers from Krishna district met the minister and complained that they did not receive payments for their produce since three years.

Meanwhile, They alleged that they were made to run from pillar to post for their money.They informed the minister that a total of Rs 10 crore was due to 310 farmers from the district.



The farmers told minister Lokesh that "Delay in payments is causing hardships and the government should immediately look into the matter".

However, an impatient Lokesh told them to wait for some more time to which the gathering of farmers reported, "how long?"
