Hyderabad Police Commissioner inaugurates CCTVs

Hyderabad June 21: The Hyderabad Police officials has been launched 65 surveillance cameras at Jaya Gardens in Somajiguda on Wednesday.

Commissioner M Mahender Reddy has been inaugurated above event.

Nowadays, there more snatching cases and robbery cases have been increasing in the city, so in order to protect the people from the snatchers, they are going to install the CCTV's.

The Telangana government has decided to install about one lakh surveillance cameras throughout the city.

The cameras were set up as part of the community policing project.

Speaking at the event, the police Commissioner said due to the surveillance cameras in various parts of the city, crime detection has become easier. The snatching cases too have come down effectively.

Mr. Reddy said CCTVs give a sense of safety and security amongst the public and requested they be installed at all prominent places.

West Zone DCP A Venkateswara Rao and other police officials from Panjagutta division attended the event.
