5-year-old kidnapped in Hyderabad

Hyderabad June 21: In a drastic incident, A 5-year-old girl was kidnapped from Miyapur in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in Bachupally locality where the girl, Janahita was taken away right in front of her house.

Police said the girl, Janahitha, was waiting along with her mother for the car which comes daily to pick and drop her at her school, which is also located in the same area.



“It was not the regular car that had come today. When her mother was inquiring about the same the driver fled away with the vehicle,” police said.

Based on the complaint given by the girl's mother, police have registered a case and launched a search.

However, police who inspected the CCTV camera footage at the area. The footage showed a woman, clad in black saree, picked up the girl in the car and left.

The police teams have begun the search operations for the girl. Further details are awaited
