Egyptian Mummy Face and Brain recreated

Kairo Egypt, June 21: Scientists have created a wonder. International scientists have reconstructed the face and brain of a 3,500-year-old Egyptian mummy. They have created this wonder with a help of a new and unique packing embalming treatment.

Scientists say that the recreated parts belong to Nebiri, an Egyptian dignitary who lived in the 18th Dynasty pharaoh Thutmoses III belonging to the 14th century (1479–1425 B.C.). They have also said that he died between 45 and 60 years old.

Raffaella Bianucci, a bioanthropologist in the Legal Medicine Section at the University of Turin, told that it was difficult for us to recreate the face of the Mummy because his body was destroyed. Sources say that In 1904, Italian Egyptologist Ernesto Schiaparelli had discovered the remains of the mummy and preserved at Egyptian Museum in Turin.

Scientists have said that they have also used modern forensics and also computed tomography and facial reconstruction techniques. Finally, experts have asked the scientists to share the details with Forensic agencies so that criminals can be detected easily with the help of such advanced face reconstruction mechanisms.
