Police injured in rebel attack in Philippines

Kidapawan Philippines, June 21: An attack has taken place today.Rebels in Philippine have engaged in a gun battle with security forces on Wednesday Morning.

Police Chief Inspector Realan Mamon said that the rebels from the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) have raided village Malagakit in North Cotabato province and have fought with government forces in a firefight and Villagers have escaped. The police chief of Pigkawayan town said that"we have reached the spot after we got information that a school in a village was taken, hostage".



Sources say that rebels attacks are increasing because of the Phhillipines government decision to take US support. Many cops were injured in the attack.They have killed all rebels and said that the situation is under control and they are investing the case.
