Police Seized gold worth Rs 7 lakh

Telangana, Nalgonda June 21: The Police officials has been arrested two thieves and also one woman, who was helping them in mortgaging stolen gold ornaments here on Tuesday.

The police officials have been seized worth 7 lakh gold from them.

The arrested persons were identified as Repalle Narasimha (23), a resident of Maheshwaram in Ranga Reddy district, Irigidandla Kalyan (22), a resident of Nalgonda district, and Valasani Vennela (28), the native of Saidabad in Hyderabad.

Presenting the arrested before presspersons, According to the district Superintendent of Police N Prakash Reddy said the two thieves committed robberies by breaking houses at night.

During the interrogation, they confessed to 13 robberies including one each in Gundlapally, Kondamallepally, Gurrampode, and Marriguda Police station limits, three each in Miryapaguda Town-I police station limits, five in Rachakonda Police Commissionerate limits.
