National Aadivasi Meeting launched in Vizag

Andhra Pradesh: Vishakapatnam, June 20: The Adivasi Adhikar Rashtriya Manch has conducted a 3rd All-India conference at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant here from Tuesday.
The conference will debate on the implementation of forest rights Act, mining, lack of development and the problems of tribal people across the country.
The social, economic and political issues concerning the tribal people will be discussed and decisions will be taken at the conference.
The Adivasi Adhikar Rashtriya Manch (AARM) was formed in 2008 to unite various organizations leading struggles on the issues of tribal people.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the conference. All India AARM vice president Brinda Karat, MP and Treasurer of AARM Jitendra Chaudhury and AARM chairperson Baja Ban Riyan will participate.
