ONGC new chairman announced

NewDelhi, June 20: An appointment was made yesterday. Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has suggested Shashi Shanker as its next Chairman and Managing Director for ONGC. The company is Indias largest oil and natural gas company.
Currently, he is the Director of Technical and Field Services of ONGC. He will replace Dinesh K Sarraf who is the current Chairman and MD, who retires on September 30.
His appointment will be finalized by PM Modi after all the due process of getting clearance from CVC, CBI, and Ministry of Petroleum. Shanker will be appointed for 4 years. Let's hope that he performs his duty faithfully after getting the promotion.
