AP CM launched modified Kaizala App

Amaravati, June 20: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has launched Kaizala App at Secretariat here on Monday.

He suggested to Microsoft Vice-President Rajiv Kumar to develop Kaizala mobile app 'A.P CM Connect' into a two-way interactive tool to facilitate direct interaction with the people on a regular basis, thereby involving them in delivering smart, transparent governance and congratulated him for incorporating anti-corruption feature in the app.

At a meeting with Mr. Kumar at the Secretariat on Monday, Mr. Naidu launched the improved app which, he said, is being used by more than 70 government departments and it helped in the proper implementation of welfare schemes and that its users need to play a larger role in taking the smart governance initiative forward.

The Chief Minister said he was recognizing the users of Kaizala as the members of a 'Kaizala family' and promised to enable their functioning as the watchdogs, who can improve the efficiency of administration and deliver it real-time.

Mr. Kumar said the 'A.P CM Connect' platform on Kaizala received 75 lakh complaints and that it was integrated with the Mee Seva portal. CEO (Real Time Governance) Babu A. and others were present.

Mr. Naidu said the people would get the opportunity to directly talk to him once the A.P. State FiberNet Limited commissions its vast high-speed broadband network. It is poised to release over one lakh connections by the end of July.

He also expressed the wish to converse with the people through video-conference at regular intervals.
