ACB raids on Sub Registrar house

Vishakapatnam June 19: Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted raids on Gajuwaka Sub Registrar Venkaiah Naidu's house in Pandimetta here on Monday.

The ACB officials have been grabbed unearthing a huge collection of gold ornaments weighing in kilos, cash in Rs 2000 bundles and documents of properties worth crores of rupees.



However, The sub-registrar who was suspended for possessing Rs 88,000 excess cash at his office in 2013 is learned to have amassed properties and illegal assets worth nearly Rs 100 crore.

The ACB are further conducting raids on his properties spread across AP and Telangana. So far they have recovered huge quantities of gold ornaments, Rs 43,000 in cash, and 3 lockers in Sri Govindam apartment at Pandimetta, Vizag is estimated to be worth Rs 50 crore.

Meanwhile, Venkaiah Naidu has allegedly amassed wealth with the help of land grabbers in registration in Vishakapatnam and Gajuwaka all these years.
