New born baby found in Garbage

Andhra Pradesh, East Godavari, June 18: Here a tragic incident has lightened, while a new-born baby girl was dumped in a garbage bin by unidentified persons at Varma Colony in Kakinada here on Saturday.

While coming to details, The baby, wrapped in a polythene bag, was dumped near Seshadri high school in the locality. Locals, who were passing through the street, noticed the infant through loud cries.

They rescued the baby and alerted the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) officials.

The ICDS officials said that the baby was rescued within an hour after being abandoned in the garbage.

They thanked the locals for rescuing the baby in the nick of the time before it becomes food for the pigs in the locality.

Anyone who is interested in adopting the baby can come forward, appealed the officials.
