Ganguly was attacked by Pak fans-video goes viral

Hyderabad, June 18: In the sports world, Cricket is the most important sport in India and Pakistan. When two nations are on the field going loggerheads with each other, fans feel the rush of adrenaline and enjoy the contest like never before.

But few fanatics, spoil even those sporting events by giving them the political importance and turning them too violent in the spur of anger. Sourav Ganguly is known for his sharp words and wit in the commentary these days, after he retired from the International Cricket in the year, 2008.



He said during the commentary that Pakistan team will have to punch above their power to score a win against Indian team and to even treat this as a contest he said, he would be ashamed. In the ongoing Champions Trophy, Pak lost to India by 124 runs in a no contest game and they have recovered unexpectedly to reach the finals of this tournament. India was expected, is defending their title by reaching the final on this Sunday.

While Cricket fans are eagerly hoping for a good contest, few Pakistan fans or rather fanatics attacked Ganguly by stopping his car and chanting, 'Pakistan Zindabad', and 'India Murdabad' with Pakistan flag in their hand. Ganguly laughed it off in his car throughout the incident and no one had any clue that such an incident has happened until recently.

Several fans are saying, it is better to show your fighting spirit on the field than on cricketers, Pakistan!
