TS MLA voting value decreases

Hyderabad: A changes in values of voting will soon take place.The voting value of MLAs of AP and TS have changed due to the bifurcation of the state. Currently there are 119 MLAS in Telangana and 175 MLAS in AP.
The voting value of each MLA in Telangana has changed to 132 from 148 of United AP. The voting value of each MLA in Andhra Pradesh has increased to 159 from 148 of United AP. Sources say that the changes took place because of the caluclating each state share based on 1971 population.
Currently, the voting value of each MLA is considered for electing a president of the country. Sources say that these slight changes in values may not affect the majority votes received.
