TTD released online quota tickets

Tirupati, June 17: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has released an online quota of 44,896 tickets of various Sevas performed inside the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara for September here on Friday.

The TTD resolved to organize an 'electronic dip in the allocation of the tickets to provide equal opportunities to all devotees who wish to take part in the pre-dawn rituals and weekly sevas.

The management, on a pilot basis, resolved to organise 'lucky dip' for six premier Sevas, including the pre-dawn rituals such as Suprabhatam (6,985 tickets) Thomala and Archana (90 each) and weekly Sevas Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva (120) Vishesha pooja (2,300) and 10,710 tickets relating to Nija Pada Darshan performed only on Fridays.

According to TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal, any number of devotees can register their names against the Seva they wish to participate.

The registration process will be opened for one week. The electronic dip will be organized at 12 noon on June 23 and the lucky winners will be intimated by e-mail and SMS to their registered mobile numbers.

It is only after the receipt of confirmation that the payment gateway will be thrown open to eligible devotees.

The programming has been done in such a way that devotees who secure tickets under the system will be entitled to participate again only after six months.

Meanwhile, the remaining tickets relating to Kalyanotsavam (8,250) Unjal Seva (2,200) Arjitha Brahmotsavams (4,730) Vasanthotsavams (9,030) and 9,976 tickets of Sahasra Deepalankara Seva will be issued under normal booking system.

Devotees can just log into the TTD website and book their desired Sevas.
