YSRCP alleged on CM Chandrababu over Dalit issues

Andhra Pradesh: Chittoor, June 16: The YSR Congress Party leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy alleging that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been anti- Dalit said at Chittoor here on Thursday.

Speaking to media persons here, party leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said, his (Naidu) anti-Dalit remarks have been an indicator of his mindset.

The discrimination also reflects in the sub-plan and the lack of will to spend the allocated amount to the intended purpose and when it comes to land distribution, TDP government has shown no concern for Dalits and Adivasis, he pointed out.

During Y S Rajasekhar Reddy's term, the land was distributed to weaker sections and houses were built in record number but the TDP government has scant respect and during the past three years not a single house was built nor was any land distributed among the weaker sections, he alleged.

The affluent classes of ruling party, however, continue to get the patronage of the government and discrimination against Dalits in Chittoor and all other districts have been increasing with every passing day, he added.
