AP Cabinet nod to link the Vamsadhara and Nagavali rivers

Vijayawada, June 16: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has conducted a cabinet meeting here on Thursday, where the decision was taken to complete the 24 pending irrigation projects within one year.

The Cabinet gave approval for complete linking of Vamsadhara and Nagavali rivers by March 2018 and rural roads maintenance policy.

The state government has also approved the agreement between Singapore and AP government for development of start-up in the capital region of Amaravati.

Further, the decision was taken to improve basic facilities in government schools in the next two years for which the Cabinet allotted Rs 4,139 crore.
